This policy explains how QR Code Generator Pro, developed by Mohammed Aadhil, handles information when you use the app.
Content you choose to process
The app processes text and QR payloads, such as URLs, contact details, Wi-Fi credentials, payment details, meeting links, and one-time-password setup information. It also processes logos or images you select and spreadsheet rows you import for bulk generation. QR generation, styling, preview rendering, and export run locally.
A QR code can reveal the content encoded in it to anyone who scans it. Take care when encoding passwords, authentication secrets, or personal details. Creating a QR code containing a web address does not itself open that website.
Local storage
The saved library stores QR content and editable field values, design settings, titles and other metadata, templates, and preview thumbnails. App preferences and favourite QR types are also kept locally. The app does not provide library cloud synchronization in the current build.
If you open or save files through iCloud Drive or another file provider, that provider may store or synchronize them under its own settings and privacy policy. System backups may also include local app data. These services are controlled by your operating system and chosen providers.
Files, clipboard, and camera
The app accesses files and images you choose for imports or logos, and uses the clipboard when you choose copy or paste. The current build has the QR Reader disabled and does not request camera access.
Exports and third-party destinations
Exporting, copying, printing, or sharing content makes it available to the destination you choose. Exported files and clipboard contents can remain outside the app after you delete the original item. Remove those copies separately, including any backups or synchronized copies.
If you open an encoded link or send an export to another app or service, that destination handles the data under its own privacy policy. Export files may contain the full QR payload.
Retention and deletion
Saved codes and templates remain in the local library until you delete them. Delete items from the Saved library or template controls. Preferences remain until reset or the app’s stored data is removed. Deleting a saved item does not delete images or PDFs previously exported, clipboard copies, provider copies, or backups.
Pro purchases
Apple processes App Store purchases and restores. The app uses StoreKit to retrieve products and prices and verify your Pro entitlement. The developer does not receive your payment card details through the app. Apple handles purchase information under its App Store privacy notice.
Analytics and tracking
Apple may provide app usage statistics and diagnostics according to your device sharing settings. These are handled under Apple’s App Analytics privacy notice. The app does not include a separate analytics, advertising, or tracking service.
Support and privacy requests
If you contact Mohammed Aadhil at me@aadhil.dev, your email address, message, and any attachments are used to respond to your request and resolve the issue. Email providers process that correspondence to deliver and store it. Support correspondence is kept as needed to handle your request and any related legal obligations; you can request deletion by email.
Please avoid including passwords, license keys, confidential documents, or other sensitive content unless you deliberately choose to share it for support. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information held about you. Contact the same address to exercise those rights. The developer cannot access or remotely delete data stored only on your device.
Children’s privacy
This app is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children. The developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app. If you believe a child has supplied personal information in a support request, contact me@aadhil.dev to request its removal.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the app or its data practices change. The latest version will be available at this URL with a revised date. This policy covers the Apple-platform app and its related support; websites and services you choose to use have their own privacy practices.
